Debugging Information in Linker
Nikl, Vojtěch ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes the conversion between the CCOFF object file format and the ELF file format. We start with a general object file format and its debbuging information, then we focus closely on the ELF, CCOFF and DWARF debugging information. The functionality of the CCOFF format is encapsulated in the ObjectFile class library. Then follows the description of creating an ELF object file, its filling with the proper data and its conversion back to the CCOFF format.
Debugger for Generic Microprocessor Simulators
Wilczák, Milan ; Husár, Adam (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
Application specific instruction set processors become part of every day life although it's not always visible at first sight. During their development it's needed to somehow describe their architecture, instruction set and behavior. To make their developement worth, it's necessary to be able to create applications for these processors and during application development errors are always made. Debuggers serve to discover and help fixing them. This paper summarises some basic information to debugger development and describes implementation for processors created using the Lissom project.
Extension of Generic Debugger of the Lissom Project
Hons, Petr ; Husár, Adam (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with an introduction to debugging and debuggers. The thesis describes principles of the debugging information, especially the DWARF format and its Call Frame Information (CFI), that enables a debugger to visualize the call stack. Furthermore, extensions of the debugger used in the Lissom project were designed and implemented. These extensions added support for call stack visualization, history value storage and step return and step over commands.
Usage of a DWARF Format in Debugger for Generic Microprocessor Simulators
Janečka, Pavel ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper gives basic introduction to source-level debugging, DWARF debugging information format and it is possible applications. Further it presents the Lissom project to the reader. The goal of this paper was also to draw on gained knowledge in order to extend Lissom's debugger.
Folk religion in Scandinavia. Dwarf, giant and elf in changes
Jiráková, Anežka ; Šalanda, Bohuslav (advisor) ; Sochorová, Ludmila (referee)
Anežka Jiráková Folk Religion in Scandinavia Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Arts, 2011 Abstract The bachelor thesis called Folk Religion in Scandinavia with the subtitle Dwarf, Giant and Elf in Changes is focused on the development of three supernatural beings - dwarf, giant and elf. More theoretical first part is focused on the analysis of spoken and written word and its application on the scandinavian mythology. The main topic is the characterization of development and changes of dwarf, giant and elf from the earliest surviving references to the present. The emphasis on the etymology of words is seen throughout of this text. The thesis includes research conducted among four danish respondents. One of the questionnaries is included in the text, as well as the part with pictures.

Retargetable Source-Level Debugger
Korvas, Pavol ; Dolíhal, Luděk (referee) ; Křoustek, Jakub (advisor)
This mater's thesis deals with introducing principles of debugging and debuggers. The thesis examines in detail format of debugging information and it describes the design of debugger created within the project Lissom. Furthermore, the thesis also contains implementation of each designed part, which the debugger consists of. Last part of this thesis deals with testing of the implemented solution with two types of processor architectures and it also contains the conclusion of the results.
